National Offer Day, when school places are confirmed, falls in April. Any objections to the determined admission arrangements should be submitted to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator (OSA).

We have a wide catchment area and attracts children from a range of locations, due to our accessible location just off the A16, only 15 minutes from Louth.
Currently we have pupils from the villages of North Thoresby, Utterby, Fotherby, Ludborough, Fulstow, Marshchapel, Grainthorpe and Covenham; and we attract a few pupils from Louth also.
We have our own minibus which we share with Utterby Primary Academy, which offers families a collection and drop-off service for a small fee. We also have arrangements with local childcare providers who can offer both before and after school care, from who it may be possible to arrange collection in the morning or drop-off to in the afternoon.
If you would like to apply for a place outside the normal admissions round, you will need to complete a mid-year application form through the Local Authority’s admissions website. Once submitted, the school will contact you to confirm the outcome and, where possible, arrange a tour of the school. Please note that waiting lists for mid-year admissions are ranked based on the oversubscription criteria.
If your application for a place is unsuccessful, you have the right to appeal the decision. Appeals should be submitted in writing within 20 school days of receiving the refusal notice. Appeals will be heard by an independent panel, and you will have the opportunity to present your case.
If you have submitted an application and a place cannot be offered, you have the right to appeal. Please contact the school office on 01472 840295 or contactus@liftnorththoresby.org to request an appeal form.
